澳大利亚阿德莱德的一个科学家小组目前在微藻商业化产出可再生生物燃油的国际竞赛中处于领先地位。一个800万澳元(约合830万美元)的微藻生物燃油示范项目即将启动。合资公司将于今年6月开始建造澳大利亚第一个微藻(生物燃油)转化示范性工厂。它将在池塘中培植微藻,然后将微藻转化成与燃油的属性极为相似的生物燃油。
