自明末清初大儒黄宗羲撰《明儒学案》列“泰州学案”以降，对泰州王艮一脉学术思想的研究绵延不绝、波澜迭起。及至近现代，梁启超在《明儒学案节本》眉批中首提“泰州学派”这一概念后，于是乎以“泰州学派”作为研究对象的学术活动持续不绝、论著数量可观。
