采用无损检测技术对古建筑木结构安全进行定量评价，对古建筑木结构维修和保护具有重要的现实意义。采用应力波测定仪FAKOPP对塔尔寺大金瓦殿的脊檩、檩、梁、承椽檩、房椽等五种木构件的动弹性模量进行了测定，结果表明：应力波无损检测可以有效的测定残余木构件的力学强度，不同种类木构件弹性模量保持率与其承重作用大小相关。

本文对4年、7年生厚荚相思树皮进行了解剖分析，探明了其内部的组织类型、排列方式。结果表明：厚荚相思树皮由内树皮和落皮层组成。内树皮中的韧皮部由轴向系统和径向系统组成。轴向系统由筛管、伴胞、轴向薄壁组织、栓内层、木栓形成层和韧皮纤维组成。前五种组织组成了筛管、薄壁细胞层。在横切面上，筛管、薄壁细胞层呈网状夹着韧皮纤维层，弦向带状延伸，并与纤维层沿径向交替排列。径向系统由韧皮射线组成。在韧皮部中，维管...
以微观特征为基础，以宏观特征为补充验证，采用徒手切片法对一桩刑侦案件涉案木质器械残留木屑进行了木材鉴定，结果判定为广泛分布于安徽各地的蝶形花科（Papilionaceae）黄檀属（Dalbergia L.F.）的黄檀（D. hupeana Hance），俗名不知春，并从理论上系统介绍了木材鉴定在刑侦案件中的应用方法、步骤及注意事项。
