海南霸王岭自然保护区位于亚洲热带雨林北缘,生物多样性极其丰富。物种多样性是生物多样性的核心特征,因此,识别植物物种多样性的空间分布格局及其热点区域对于了解当前植物分布和保护旗舰物种至关重要。然而,只关注生物多样性热点并不能完全实现景观层面的物种保护。这强调了将热点区域与珍稀濒危物种的栖息地相结合的重要性。
