Herbst矫治器是一种能有效治疗骨性Ⅱ类错牙合伴下颌后缩的固定性功能矫治装置，它不仅可应用于矫治儿童及青少年Ⅱ类错牙合，亦对矫治该错牙合类型的成人也有一定效果，并结合改变了骨及牙等组织，有效改善了侧貌，且远期疗效较稳定，是一种矫正成人边缘性骨性Ⅱ类错牙合畸形行之有效的方法，本文将对此作一综述。
