受应用光学国家重点实验室邀请，中佛罗里达大学光子光学学院高级研究科学家(Senior Research Scientist)，国家青年千人计划入选者陶光明博士5月10号到所访问与交流。上午9点30分，陶光明博士在应光室作了题为《Advanced Functional Fibers and Textiles》的报告。报告由实验室副主任穆全全研究员主持，并有 30余位科研人员及研究生参加。
“光子科学夏令营”由中国科学技术大学国家同步辐射实验室承办，活动时间：7月18~21日（7月17日报到，7月22日离营），本次夏令营在全国范围内招收物理类、化学类、材料类、电子、机械、核科学等专业的2014级优秀本科生。活动期间，将充分利用校内外优秀的教育资源，邀请相关领域著名专家学者开设专题讲座、前沿报告等系列活动。
